Father’s Day is almost here and I bet you’re wondering what to get your dad to show him just how special he is. We say don’t think outside the box this Father’s Day! Treat your dad to the very best SoCal has to offer. This year Father Day is June 18th–but you knew that, right?
Spend quality time with dad and think about these great ideas:
– Dad an art lover? The Paseo Colorado Shopping Center where over 600 artists chalk art on the street of Pasadena. Be sure to check out the Police Classic Car show on Sunday from 10am to 3pm
– If your dad is into hiking take him to Runyon Canyon in Hollywood. Packed dirt path leads hikers, on a loop around the canyon. At the crest great views of the Hollywood Hills can be seen and people watching is as fun as the hike.
– Want to spend time with dad in the wild blue yonder? Think Leo Carrillo State Park. They have plenty of campsites with easy access to the beach. Be sure to explore their many tide pools, caves, and reefs.
– What dad does not love to see a Dodger’s game and their famous Dodger Dogs? Dodger Stadium is the 3rd oldest ballpark in the Major League Baseball. Go Dodgers!
For the dad who’s still a kid visit Racer’s Edge Karting, challenge him with our high-speed racetrack with speeds up to 45 mph! Of course we think this is the very best way to spend Father’s Day with your dad but we may be a bit bias.
Please note that races are sold on a first come, first served basis. Please call ahead to check on wait times.
